March 23 2011 - Venice Beach and trip to SAN FRANCISCO!!!
Hi guys...
We first made a stop at Venice Beach because we had been rained out the day before. Venice is a place for very laid back people and the beach is public and owned by the city, so everyone is welcome. We walked by the infamous Muscle Beach workout area.
There was a photo shoot going on for K. Swiss, the tennis shoe brand, so that was awesome to see. We went to the water and it was like a scene from Baywatch, with surfers everywhere and a nice view of the blue ocean. After walking on the beach and taking pictures, we walked on the boardwalk and had some free time to check out all the stores.
There was a lot of free entertainment like a man playing electric guitar on rollerblades and also a man with a bunch of snakes. I’m pretty sure they were fake but it was still fun.
We hit the road again and headed north to our final destination, San Francisco. It was a long bus ride, but it was fun. We went straight to Hard Rock CafĂ© and had dinner. It was a nice restaurant with a lot of cool guitars, hats, and clothes. Elvis Presley’s sunglasses were there and Michael Jackson’s hat.
After eating, we went to the Hilton Hotel where we will stay for the rest of our trip.

March 21 2011 - Griffith Park and Hollywood Studios
Hello world!
This morning we went to the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California. At the very top, we had an amazing view of all of LA as well as the Hollywood sign! This was very cool because we have seen this sign in many TV shows and in movies many times.
We were all even more excited to go to Universal Studios where we were going to ride a lot of rides and see many attractions. It did start to rain and even though we were wet, our trip staff brought us all bright yellow ponchos were useful and funny! We took a nice group picture, went on rides, and then did a studio tour on a guided trolley. This was fun because we saw many sets of famous Hollywood movies and shows.
It was amazing! We were impressed also because a lot of the signs were written in other languages: Japanese, German, Italian... We had so much fun there and we would go really enjoy going back one day!
For tomorrow, we're already excited to go to Disneyland because today was so much fun!
